Fusion Tech CAD Drawings
Fusion Tech provides CAD drawing services for stairs, platforms, frames, and metal buildings. We handle all the drafting work that comes before cutting, welding, or installation. Every drawing includes the right dimensions, weld details, materials, and layout views.

We use CAD daily for our own shop. The same process applies when we prepare drawings for clients across Texas. You can send us a rough sketch, list of specs, or just key measurements we’ll use that to create 2D or 3D files that match what’s needed for the job.

Drawings are clean and editable. You’ll get files in DWG, DXF, or PDF - whichever works best for your equipment or approval process. If you’re quoting a job or need plans for permits, we’ll help make sure the drawings are set up right.
Our Process: How Our CAD Drafting Services Work
At Fusion Tech, we follow a clear, hands-on process to make sure your drawings match exactly what you need no surprises, no missing details. Here’s how we handle every project:
Step 1: Review Your Project Information
We start by reviewing your sketches, notes, specs, or project requirements. If we need more details, we’ll ask for them up front so there’s no confusion later. This helps us make sure we’re starting from the right base.
Step 4: Make Revisions
If you need edits, such as a dimension change, a different weld callout, or a minor layout adjustment, we update the CAD files based on your feedback. We keep everything editable for fast turnarounds.
Step 2: Build the First Draft CAD Drawings
Once we have everything needed, we create the first version of your CAD drawing. We apply correct dimensions, weld symbols, material specs, and any special requirements you’ve outlined.

We draw from real shop experience on every CAD project. The files you receive are based on actual
builds, not theory, which means fewer corrections and fewer questions down the line.
Step 3: Send Draft for Review
We send the draft drawings to you for review. You’ll have a chance to check measurements, layout, part sizes, or any specific project needs. If anything needs changing, we can adjust it here.
Step 5: Deliver Final CAD Files
Once approved, we finalize the drawings and deliver them in your requested format: DWG, DXF, or PDF. The final drawings are ready for quoting, permitting, fabrication, or installation work without delay.
2D CAD Drawings
We create 2D drawings with full measurements, part outlines, material thicknesses, and connection points. These drawings are used for fabrication quotes, shop builds, field cuts, and permit submittals. Every drawing includes clear front, side, and top views based on your project needs.

Whether you need a simple platform layout or detailed connection plates for a steel frame, we can provide accurate, scaled drawings ready for printing or CNC integration.
3D CAD Models
Our team develops full 3D models for stairs, frames, metal buildings, and custom welded assemblies. 3D models help you visualize clear layouts, check part fits, and avoid field mistakes. We also offer exploded views showing how parts connect if needed.

These models are useful during planning meetings, client reviews, and structural checks before materials are ordered or cut.
Stair and Railing Drawings
We create detailed stair drawings showing tread sizes, riser heights, stringer layouts, handrail runs, and wall mounting points. All designs include bolt locations, weld points, and finish dimensions.

Our stair drawings can be used for both shop fabrication and field installation, saving time during fitting and welding. Whether it’s a simple straight stair or a multi-landing switchback, we create the exact layout you need.
Custom Part & Component Drawings
If you need plates, brackets, beams, platforms, or small welded frames, we prepare detailed part drawings showing all hole locations, cuts, bends, and weld notes. These can be scaled for cutting tables, plasma machines, or manual shop layout.

We can also create batch drawings for repetitive parts if you're fabricating a high-volume project or set of structures.
Weld Symbol Application
Our CAD drawings include weld callouts using AWS or client-specific standards. Weld type, size, and location are shown directly on the fabrication drawings. We include fillet welds, groove welds, stitch welds, and any notes required for inspections or field verification.
Proper weld callouts eliminate errors during fit-up and reduce rework after inspections.
DXF / DWG / PDF File Output
All drawings can be provided in editable DWG or DXF formats for CNC plasma tables, laser cutters, or detailing software. PDF versions are prepared for printouts, permit packets, and review copies.
We verify file readability before delivery, ensuring you can open, scale, and print without formatting issues.
Paper or Sketch to CAD
If you have older plans, rough hand sketches, or field notes, we can digitize them into clean, usable CAD files. Measurements are captured exactly as provided. We don’t modify layouts unless specifically requested.
This service is ideal for retrofits, renovations, or when original building drawings are missing.
